Human rights violations and lack of accountability for such violations are often drivers of conflict. Monitoring human rights, therefore, could provide early warning for social unrest. Understanding the instruments available to advocate and promote human rights is the basis for many diplomatic negotiations.

During this course, we will look at the different building blocks of a campaign in order to learn how to build an advocacy campaign which can be rolled out locally but also at wider level, who needs to be influenced, informed and trained, what means are needed, how to communicate and which means to use for what target groups.

Medication, Dispute Settlement and Conflict Resolution

The course strengthens your conflict resolution skills, helping to improve cohesion and resolve disputes. With a focus on mediation skills, we teach managing difficult conversations and disagreements and in creatively addressing challenges.

Positive Peace is defined as the attitudes, institutions and structures that create and sustain peaceful societies.
